Vanilla Créme Pie is a 70% indica strain that resulted from Humboldt Seed Co's 2019 collaborative pheno mega-hunt with Aloha Humboldt Farms. Bred from Emerald Fire and Ghost of Von Humboldt OG, Vanilla Créme Pie is a Bx2 variety with heavy trichome production.
Vanilla Créme Pie is a vigorous strain with a columnar structure and a moderate degree of stretch during the flowering phase. The buds are very solid. Indoors, flowering will take about 65 days. Outdoor-grown crops in northern latitudes will be ready for harvesting in the first half of October.
Tastes and scents of vanilla pastry, créme patissiere (Boston Créme) and sweet fuel. THC levels are very high at 23 - 25%.
Photoperiod strains rely on seasonal daylight changes, so harvest timing is closely tied to your local climate.
Photoperiod strains give indoor growers more control over size, shape, and when flowering begins.

In theory most strains can be grown outdoors, indoors or in a greenhouse but how well they perform depends on the more exact environmental conditions. This is most important outdoors where climatic conditions can vary widely, so please check the strain information carefully. If your climate is more extreme or growing season shorter you should choose strain that is specifically adapted. Indoor and greenhouse environments can be controlled and made suitable for most strains although space can be a factor for strain that grow very large.
Growing difficulty varies depending on a strain's resilience, structure and environmental needs. Some strains are more forgiving and better suited to beginners and a range of environmental conditions, while others may require closer control of factors such as light, humidity, temperature and feeding.
Our product information and that provided by suppliers can be an indication of potential levels under optimal conditions, and it should not be assumed that results can be replicated in all conditions.
Strains described as beginner-friendly, easy to grow or resilient, in particular Autoflowering Feminised strains, are generally more manageable for less experienced growers. These varieties are often a more reliable starting point than more specialised genetics.
