Description
Purple Ink from Umami Seed Co. is a terpene-driven hybrid built from the stacked dessert lineage (Chile Verde x Zuchi) x Limecai. This cultivar pulls from a deep genetic pool including Key Lime Pie, Lavender, Zkittlez, Biscotti, Froyo, Acai Gelato, and Sunset Sherbert - a lineage known for bold flavor expression, strong resin production, and vibrant coloration. Designed with Umami’s flavor-first breeding philosophy, Purple Ink prioritizes terpene saturation, early color expression, and dense, high-quality flower structure that immediately stands out in both the garden and the jar.
In cultivation, Purple Ink displays controlled medium stretch with strong vertical stacking, producing dense spear-shaped colas that fill in heavily along sturdy branches. One of its most striking traits is the early color fade, with many phenotypes developing deep purple and near-black tones well before harvest. The buds become heavily frosted as flowering progresses, with greasy trichome coverage extending across both flowers and sugar leaves. This resin production makes Purple Ink a strong candidate for extraction work, with some phenotypes even producing visually vibrant purple hash.
The terpene profile is unmistakable and intensely expressive. Expect loud grape soda and candy-like sweetness, with fizzy grape notes reminiscent of Fun Dip powder layered over a syrupy, mouth-coating finish. The flavor remains dense and saturated from aroma to smoke, leaving a lingering grape candy character that terpene hunters immediately recognize. With its combination of bold flavor, heavy resin output, and dramatic purple coloration, Purple Ink is an excellent choice for growers chasing standout bag appeal and premium terpene-forward flower.

We recommend as seeds are live products that customers always buy 10% more seeds than they need, to allow for reasonable losses, or user error, and avoid any disappointment.
