Description
PPD (formerly known as Purple Pantie Dropper) was Humboldt Seed Co's very first strain. It is an indica-dominant, three-way cross of Matanuska Mist, Purple Haze and Oregon Grape that has been back-crossed 8 times (Bx8). It was originally named after its alleged aphrodisiac properties.
Although an indica-dominant strain PPD is nicely-balanced by its sativa genetics. It is characterised by good production, highly vigorous growth and a rich purple colour. These plants develop uniformly and grow rather large. Flowering indoors is fast at just 50 days while outdoor-grown crops are ready in the northern hemisphere between September 20th - October 5th. Yields are very high.
The scent produced by PPD is rich, sweet and floral. THC content ranges between 18 - 25% with just 0.1% CBD. The effect is euphoric and mood-enhancing with definite aphrodisiac tendencies. Therapeutically recommended for its anti-anxiety (anxiolytic) qualities.
