Description
Michka is a heavily sativa-dominant cannabis strain named after the French writer and cannabis advocate Michka Seeliger-Chatelain. Michka is a tall, willowy and relatively long-flowering plant that exudes an enticing citrus scent.
Michka is a plant that is most suited to outdoor cultivation in Mediterranean and tropical climate zones. Indoor cultivation is also indicated although some previous growing experience in handling tall sativas will pay dividends otherwise the learning curve will be quite steep.
Vegetative growth is vigorous and indoor growers will need plenty of headroom unless a SCRoG set-up is employed in order to control the height. Super-cropping is another alternative to reign-in its tendency to reach for the ceiling. There is little lateral branch development. Flowering takes between 70 - 85 days with outdoor grows requiring long summers and warm early to mid-autumn conditions.
The structure of the light-green buds is loose with spiral, popcorn-shaped formations allowing good air circulation. Nearing maturity the main stem can become completely covered with flowering clusters. Yields are in the medium range but of very high quality.
Scents and flavours of citrus dominate this strain but with a definite sweetness apparent. The effect is very creative, uplifting, positive and energetic and consumption is not recommended before bed.
