KAN® Seed Germination Canister by Cannakan is a reusable, purpose-built germination system designed to make seed starting cleaner, easier and more organised. Instead of juggling multiple cups, containers, paper towels or plastic bags, KAN® lets you soak and germinate up to 8 seed varieties at the same time inside one compact canister, helping keep each variety separated, labelled and easy to manage.
The system is designed to create a controlled germination environment built around the key conditions seeds need: water, oxygen, warmth and darkness. Its partitioned strainer helps keep seeds organised, while the canister design helps retain humidity and warmth, support airflow and water movement, and protect delicate seeds and emerging radicles. This makes KAN® especially useful for growers working with multiple varieties, small batches or valuable genetics where careful handling matters.
Each KAN® includes 3 qualitative lab filter papers, offering a cleaner alternative to standard paper towels or cotton pads. These pure cellulose filter papers are designed to allow reliable water absorption and air exchange, while helping reduce the risk of taproots growing into fibrous material during germination. The canister itself is made from rigid recyclable PP polypropylene, is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning, cold storage safe, and built for repeated use, helping cut down on single-use plastic bags and throwaway germination materials.
Compact, practical and easy to clean, KAN® is a smart upgrade for anyone who wants a more consistent, organised and reusable approach to seed germination.

In theory most strains can be grown outdoors, indoors or in a greenhouse but how well they perform depends on the more exact environmental conditions. This is most important outdoors where climatic conditions can vary widely, so please check the strain information carefully. If your climate is more extreme or growing season shorter you should choose strain that is specifically adapted. Indoor and greenhouse environments can be controlled and made suitable for most strains although space can be a factor for strain that grow very large.
Growing difficulty varies depending on a strain's resilience, structure and environmental needs. Some strains are more forgiving and better suited to beginners and a range of environmental conditions, while others may require closer control of factors such as light, humidity, temperature and feeding.
Our product information and that provided by suppliers can be an indication of potential levels under optimal conditions, and it should not be assumed that results can be replicated in all conditions.
Strains described as beginner-friendly, easy to grow or resilient, in particular Autoflowering Feminised strains, are generally more manageable for less experienced growers. These varieties are often a more reliable starting point than more specialised genetics.
