Sativa-dominant hybrid with dense buds like an indica. Expect purple buds covered in frosty trichomes and very high THC content. A potent, psychedelic experience.
Gazzurple Feminised is a purple-flowered sativa-dominant (70%) strain with a powerful fuel-based scent and flavour. Gazzurple is a three-way hybrid that was bred from Gazzurple Bx2, Poddy Mouth and Macaroon. Despite its high percentage of sativa genetics the plants flower quickly and display an indica-structure. The flowering clusters are said to resmble bunches of grapes left out in the snow, such is their frosty appearance. Very high THC levels.
Although these plants grow like a sativa the buds are nonetheless very dense like those of an indica strain although mould resistance is high. Trellising / support will be beneficial and can allow for a better distribution of light to inner bud sites. Cooler night-time temperatures towards the end of flowering leads to high anthocyanin production emphasising the purple shades inherent with this strain. Indoors, flowering takes between 50 - 60 days while outdoors in the northern hemisphere growers can expect their harvest to be due between September 20th - October 5th. Yields are very worthwhile but not exceptional.
The scent of the buds is primarily of diesel fuel with a sweet/tart quality. The taste has distinct notes of diesel, berries and cream. THC content varies between 28 - 33% providing a highly potent, energising and psychedelic effect that is not recommended for novice consumers.
Photoperiod strains rely on seasonal daylight changes, so harvest timing is closely tied to your local climate.
Photoperiod strains give indoor growers more control over size, shape, and when flowering begins.
In theory most strains can be grown outdoors, indoors or in a greenhouse but how well they perform depends on the more exact environmental conditions. This is most important outdoors where climatic conditions can vary widely, so please check the strain information carefully. If your climate is more extreme or growing season shorter you should choose strain that is specifically adapted. Indoor and greenhouse environments can be controlled and made suitable for most strains although space can be a factor for strain that grow very large.
Growing difficulty varies depending on a strain's resilience, structure and environmental needs. Some strains are more forgiving and better suited to beginners and a range of environmental conditions, while others may require closer control of factors such as light, humidity, temperature and feeding.
Our product information and that provided by suppliers can be an indication of potential levels under optimal conditions, and it should not be assumed that results can be replicated in all conditions.
Strains described as beginner-friendly, easy to grow or resilient, in particular Autoflowering Feminised strains, are generally more manageable for less experienced growers. These varieties are often a more reliable starting point than more specialised genetics.
