Description
Chem Funk R1 is a feminised, indica/sativa hybrid strain that was bred using a Chem '91 SK Va (clone only) for the mother and Tahoe OG for the father. Chem Funk R1 is easy to grow and produces good yields of dense buds with a very high THC content.
Chem Funk R1 can be grown in all environments, indoors, outdoors, as well as in a greenhouse. Plants are medium-sized and produce strong lateral branches to bear the weight of their dense buds. Indoors, flowering lasts for a period of 10 weeks or thereabouts. The mature buds become very nicely-stacked, are oval in shape, and are somewhat spongy, while having a high calyx to leaf ratio to make trimmimg a breeze. The trichome heads are nice and large and are good for extract-making.
The pre-dominent terps. are myrcene and caryophyllene giving aromas of diesel, gassy funk, earth and floral notes while the flavour is earthy and peppery. THC production reaches 25% or even higher, providing a potent, long-lasting effect that is both mentally and physically relaxing.
N.B. An R1 cannabis strain is one that has 2 distinct parents, one of which has been 'selfed' to provide pollen for the fertilisation process. It differs from an S1 strain inasmuch as S1s are derived from just one parent strain that is 'selfed' to provide the pollen.
