The story of Exotic Genetix began when Mike was satisfying the demand for good quality cannabis seeds from medical marijuana patients at the hydroponic store that he worked at in Tacoma, Washington, USA, handing out seeds that he had himself developed. The patients came back for more due to the seeds' quality and reliability and so he started think about breeding more new strains.

After a year of doing this he could no longer keep up with the demand from his three strains and so with the help of a network of friends he bred more strains and Exotic Genetix was born in 2008. In the ensuing years both recognition and popularity grew to the extent that his strains won Cannabis Cups for best flowers, hash, breeder and seed company with the first such victory occurring in 2012. Exotic Genetix has been resonsible for such landmark strains as Kimbo Kush and Cookies & Cream..

In Mike's own words 'This entire journey started out of love, passion, and desire for the plant. A constant drive to learn from past mistakes, and to gain knowledge and wisdom with every step taken.
