Plants have always shaped human lives. Long before modern markets existed, people selected, saved, and shared seeds simply because they mattered. They fed communities, healed bodies, or adapted beautifully to their surroundings. Cannabis belongs to that long horticultural tradition.
Enrich life is the belief that growing and understanding plants can add meaning, balance, and connection to everyday life. At Seedsman, this means championing horticulture, curiosity, and care through cannabis seeds and the knowledge surrounding them. It's about preserving genetics, deepening understanding, and recognising the value of patience, observation, and shared experience.
We believe in cannabis seeds as expressions of plant genetics shaped by time, place, and human care. Each variety carries a story — of climate, culture, and experimentation — and we believe these stories are worth preserving.
Our purpose is simple: to protect genetic diversity, to celebrate horticulture, and to enrich life by making cannabis seeds accessible to a global community of collectors, researchers, and enthusiasts.

For over two decades, Seedsman has played a central role in the global cannabis seed space — not by following trends, but by helping shape them.
From early work with autoflowering genetics to supporting the rise of CBD-rich varieties, Seedsman has consistently focused on what matters long-term: preserving genetic diversity, expanding understanding, and championing the joy of horticulture through cannabis.
At our core, we are collectors, curators, and caretakers of plant genetics.
Our work centres on sourcing both innovative and historic cannabis seeds, building a living library shaped by breeders, botanists, and growers across the world. Each strain reflects a combination of environment, selection, and human curiosity – values that sit at the heart of our Enrich Life philosophy.
Seedsman was founded in 2002 by cousins Will and Tom, who turned a shared passion for cannabis and plant science into a family-run venture that still defines the company today.
Will brought experience in hemp cultivation and product development, while Tom's background in food marketing helped shape a brand designed to be inclusive, accessible, and ground in real people.
Seedsman's early image and branding was intentionally mainstream, to reflect the diversity of people who love cannabis, rather than clinging to traditional stoner or hippy-type visuals. As cannabis use had crossed all societal boundaries, Seedsman's strategy was to appeal to everyone, no matter their background, no matter their lifestyle.
Seedsman's international debut came in 2003, with the company officially launching at Cannatrade in Berne, Switzerland. The original Seedsman catalogue contained some truly iconic varieties, such as Original Skunk #1 and Original Haze. These foundational strains were soon joined by classics like Mexican Sativa and Durban Poison, each added with explicit aim for preserving important genetic lines.
Seedsman's focus on horticultural heritage has remained central ever since.

Growth came steadily, though not without challenges. As the company evolved, Tom continued to guide Seedsman forward, maintaining its long-term view of genetics and cultivation knowledge.
A defining moment arrived in 2005 with the introduction of Lowryder, a Canadian-bred strain that helped popularise autoflowering cannabis. While opinions were initially mixed, Tom recognised the horticultural significance of these genetics and supported their wider adoption. Autoflowering strains would go on to reshape breeding programmes across the industry.
As the market narrowed its focus on high-THC varieties, Seedsman again took a broader view – recognising that cannabis is one of the most chemically and genetically diverse plants in nature's garden. This perspective led to early support for CBD-focused breeding projects, including collaboration with CBD Crew and the international rise of their flagship strain, Therapy.
Today, Seedsman continues to support genetic diversity through cannabis seeds rich in a wide range of cannabinoids, including CBD, CBDV, and THCV, alongside historic classics and contemporary favourites. This balance reflects a belief that understanding plant behavior and characteristics is as important as commercial popularity.

As the number of breeders and strains continues to grow, Seedsman takes the utmost care to understand what makes each genetic line distinctive. This includes ongoing dialogue with breeders and partners, detailed evaluation of feedback, and working closely with testing networks in regions where cultivation is legally permitted.
Our catalogue is built on consistency, transparency, and trust – supporting collectors and enthusiasts seeking meaningful genetics, not empty promises.
Seedsman's mission is to offer one of the most diverse and engaging selections of cannabis seeds available, supported by a reliable and thoughtful shopping experience that builds long-term loyalty.
By championing horticulture, preserving genetic heritage, and supporting responsible innovation, we aim to enrich life through a deeper connection with plants and the stories they tell.
At Seedsman, we're committed to protecting and advancing cannabis genetics while supporting a more informed cannabis culture. We believe that the simple act of planting a seed symbolises patience, development, creativity, and putting you and nature in balance.
We work closely with experienced breeders, preserve heirloom and landrace varieties, and explore new cultivars that express novel characteristics – all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and care.
Our global community plays a vital role in this work. Through shared feedback, knowledge, and discussion, we continue to learn, refine, and evolve – guided by respect for people, plants, and the natural world.
Seedsman encourages customers to understand their local laws relating to cannabis seeds and cultivation. Our focus remains on education, preservation, and appreciation – recognising cannabis as a remarkable horticultural species with a rich past and a meaningful future.
