La Haze è stata sviluppata in California negli anni ’60 e ’70 incrociando alcune delle migliori sativa tropicali importate in quel periodo. La popolazione dell'Oldtimer's Haze è stata preservata intatta fino ad oggi da Oldtimer, un selezionatore britannico, e successivamente riprodotta dai nostri selezionatori utilizzando un'ampia varietà di piante parentali. L’Oldtimer’s Haze conserva ancora oggi la diversità genetica che molte linee Haze attuali hanno ormai perso, ed è possibile trovare fenotipi che spaziano dalla mitica e quasi estinta “Purple Haze” al più popolare fenotipo “Green Haze”, oltre naturalmente a combinazioni intermedie.

For the Patient Ones. This is a great old school line. You have to have patience and a solid understanding of tropical sativa growth habits. The earliest females will be done around 14 weeks from clone and the latest at 22+ weeks The sex is very firm in the line, you won't see hermaphrodites. You will need to do some selecting in order to find an excellent female (I found mine out of 20). But it's totally worth it. You will be rewarded with effects that you can't find in most strains anymore. It's also great for making crosses and is probably actually the most suitable use for the line as it has been inbred for decades. This line is a timewarp and a great learning experience. I would highly recommend it, as long as you're willing to do some research and/or have some experience with these types of lines.
