Bess Byers, otherwise known as 'Cannabess' is a leading social media influencer, cannabis photographer, digital marketing professional and grower. Suzy Bustamante is one of the lead cannabis growers at The MKT, a family owned cannabis cultivation business based in Boulder, Colorado.
This livestream is a chance to get an insight into the world of women in cannabis, how it is for them, the strains and products they grow, love and can recommend, grow tips and how they see the cannabis industry moving forward and being more inclusive.
This is the second in the Seedsman series of Women in Weed Instagram Lives. The first launched on Monday 8th March for International Women's Day. For this, cannabis advocates and social media influencers Jessica Gonzalez (#themommyjane) and Nina (#Ninibee_) discussed their journey into the world of cannabis, their lifestyles and cannabis rituals, and the importance of sharing our stories, as women, to help break the stigma that still surrounds both the plant and its use.
"My girlfriend inspires me to grow", a comment made on the live chat was taken up by both women as the message of the moment. The women reflected: girlfriends help us grow as individuals and as a community, and they can also support us in growing our beloved cannabis plant and taking our message out to the world.
