Main Event is a 75% indica hybrid bred from Madcap and Afghani strains. A good to heavy-yielding plant, flowering takes 55 - 63 days indoors.

The dominant pheno is a stocky plant with bushy leaves that grow very wide. Topping is recommended early during veg. to encourage the plant to grow horizontally and to produce the maximum number of bud sites. Buds are extremely resinous and sticky, surrounded by heavily-sugared leaves. The thick, dense buds are typically light green with a mass of white and golden curling pistils. The leaves can develop colourfully close to harvest. This strain is very hardy and tends to be both mould and mildew resistant.
