We are dedicated to ensuring the protection and privacy of our customers and visitors to our websites. We understand and adhere to POPIA and other applicable data protection laws. Below we set out how we collect, process, protect, and store the Personal Information of our customers and visitors to our websites, who are the data subjects to which this Privacy Notice applies.  

Collection 

The type of Personal Information we collect and process about you depends on the nature of our business relationship with you. A comprehensive list of what Personal Data we collect and process about our customers and website visitors is as follows:

If you select not to provide us with the information we require from you, it may prevent us from supplying specific services to you for example. For example, if you do not provide us with your physical address, we would be hindered from supplying our goods to you at your physical address.  
For example, you may browse our website without any Personal Information being collected from you. However, to enjoy an easier browsing and shopping experience, we offer you the ability to register an account with us. Additionally, you do not have to have an account to purchase goods from us. When you add items to your cart, a file is created on our server which stores details of your purchases. This file is linked uniquely to your browsing session and cannot be viewed by anyone else.  

Processing

We have a legal obligation (Some legislation which affects why your Personal Information is collected, processed, or retained includes the Companies Act 71 of 2008, Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, National Credit Act 34 of 2005, Income Tax Act 58 of 1962 and the Prescription Act 68 of 1969).  
It is in our or your legitimate interest to do so.  

Marketing 

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways in relation to direct marketing: 
- whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes; and

We are a global business with operations in South Africa, the UK, and the EU/EEA and we use suppliers located in different countries around the world. We are committed to ensuring that your Personal Information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Please note that all sensitive data is transmitted via an industry-standard 128-bit secure socket layer connection. We do not store your payment details.  


If your Personal Information is compromised, we will immediately notify you and guide you on additional measures to take to prevent further unauthorised access or disclosure. 
We will only keep your Personal Information for as long as is necessary for the process for which it was processed or for as long as we have a legal or business reason that requires us to, which generally means as long as you retain an active user profile on our website or as required by our legal, regulatory or contractual obligations (typically for a period of up to six years). Please note generally if your user profile has been inactive for 18 months or longer, we will close your user profile, however, we have legal and regulatory obligations to retain your Personal Information for a specific period after we have closed your user profile. We only retain the minimum Personal Information we must for our legal and regulatory obligations and do not use it for any other purposes.

You have the right to ask us to confirm what Personal Information we have about you and how we process your Personal Information, to request copies of your Personal Information from us, or to request which third parties we share your Personal Information with. 
You have the right to request that we correct or update any incorrect or incomplete Personal Information held by us or to request the deletion or destruction of your personal information if we no longer have a lawful reason to have, use, or store it. 
You have the right to object to our processing of your Personal Information in certain circumstances or to request that we restrict our use of your Personal Information.  
You have the right to opt out of any direct marketing we send you.
