A 48-year-old woman from Sugar Creek, Wisconsin has been arrested and charged after providing a man suffering with Multiple Sclerosis some medical cannabis in his assisted living facility. Ann Schackmuth has been charged by prosecutors with a felony after one of the owners of the assisted living facility witnessed the transaction. Witnesses at the facility the state that the Multiple Sclerosis patient's room smelled of marijuana following the Shackmuth's visit. When questioned, Schackmuth admitted that she had given medical marijuana to the man several times in the past, explaining that it greatly helps him deal with his pain. However, prosecutors have seemingly not taken this into account and Schackmuth could now be facing up to three and a half years in prison.
