Purple Mints Feminised Seeds

Purple Mints is a heavy indica-dominant strain that resulted from crossing Purple Kush x Skunk #1 x Cookies (GSC). Purple Mints produces high yields, high-THC and potency that also has a powerful terpene profile.

Purple Kush was crossed with Skunk #1 and the very best pheno with the loudest terpenes was selected before being subsequently crossed with a specially selected sweet Cookies pheno. The resulting Purple Mints is a highly versatile strain with a typical indica growth pattern, i.e. a christmas tree structure, and with little stretch in flowering. Indoor growers are recommended to allow plants to veg. until they are close to the final size required. Plants are very hungry for nutrients during flowering.

Indoor flowering takes 60 - 65 days with yields reaching 650 gr/m². Grown outdoors, between 50° of latitude north and south, each plant yields up to 900 gr. with early October harvest times in northern latitudes. Cultivation is relatively problem-free in warm Mediterranean climate types but those growing in higher latitudes will need to take care with possible mould.

The mature, large buds are dense and hard, displaying some attractive autumn shades of purple and orange covered in white resin. Buds have a scent of freahly-baked banana bread and reveal an intense fruitiness when broken up. The taste is like strawberries at first but this becomes like sweet, ripe bananas with notes of mint, pine, eucalyptus and hints of fuel.

The 22% THC content imparts feelings of euphoria evolving into heavy couchlock. Therapeutically Purple MInts has anxiolytic properties as well as relieving insomnia, however, this is not a strain for the novice smoker or vaper. Please be warned!
