Description

Watermelon Runtz is an indica-dominant (75%) strain that results from crossing Watermelon Zkittlez with Runtz. Plants are vigorous and are multi-branched; very easy to grow although overall yields will be increased when one, or more, of several common pruning / training techniques is employed.

Plentiful side-branches mean that using SoG, SCRoG, FIMmimg, super-cropping or LST will help with light penetration, air circulation thereby resulting in better yields of bigger buds. When growing indoors the time allowed for vegetative growth should not exceed three weeks to preventthem from becoming unwieldy in the grow space following the stretch.

Flowering takes 58 - 65 days indoors producing harvests between 450 - 550 gr/m². Outdoor-grown plants reach 250 - 300 cm. tall producing 1200 - 1400 gr/plant with plants in northern latitudes ready from early to mid October. The mature buds are dense and spherical, covered in sticky resin and exude a powerful, tropical/fruity scent.

Watermelon, ripe tropical fruit, cream pie and petrol are the dominant scents and flavours. THC content is high to very high at between 18 - 22% with less than 2% CBD. The effect is initially positive, euphoric and uplifting and this subsequently evolves into a more physically relaxing high.
