Description

This is a close relation of our Purple Bud. We remastered our original Purple Skunk variety to give a plant with a much smoother smoke hence the name Velvet Bud. This strain produces a laid back but powerful effect, for many, with an anti-anxiety high. Plants grow with long sativa side-branching that makes it ideal to be grown in a sea of green set up. Whilst the yields are't excessive the quality in taste and smoothness (when cured properly) is easily recognisable.

got these last year just finished a grow in doors. plant grows like a x-mas tree long branch on bottom getting sorter as they go up. does not need or like a lot of feeding. buds are supper dense. the one I grew finished at 60-63 days. over all yield was a little light compared to other strains. still a good grow.

Didn't pop. As it was a single seed, bought to take me to the freebie amount I have mixed feelings as the freebie seeds are quite spectacular, I just can't review the seed but I can say that I will repeat, like buy a single seed to get more freebies as it quite often pays off in ways you hadn't expected.

I don't think the reviews and description do this one justice. The plants were short with dense growth. The flowers have a nice menthol like smell and a sweet yummy taste. Yields are not massive but the bud is awesome. The high comes on immediately and is most pleasurable, mostly in the head. Picked them up for short money last 420 sale just as "give m a try strain" and found that these are among my favorites ever. The smoke is smooth as silk and does not cause coughing. Thanks Mr Seedsman for such a great strain at such a reasonable deal!!

Got as a freebie all poped within 72 hours. It has been 30 days from when I sprouted them and they have 7 to 9 nodes. Looking great no problems with nutes. They are doing better than some I paid for. They seem like a easy strain to grow. Can't wait to see how they flower.

Got this for free and after reading the description i an excited to try it. I did not soak my seeds first. I put them in root riot starter plugs under a humidity dome. Out of 19 seeds this strain had the 3 rd one to pop. at almost exactly 72 hours 3 seeds had popped one velvet bud and two other strains.
