Description

Winner of several harvest festivals, and ‚ÄúHigh Times‚Äù Cannabis Cup. Skunk#1 (75% sativa, 25% indica) was originally a cross between 25% Afghani, 25% Mexican Acapulco Gold and 50% Colombian Gold. Inbred since 1978, now a stabilized homogeneous strain. Blooms with long, thick buds, varying in colour from light green to golden. Very high flower to leaf ratio. Mold susceptible the last 6 weeks of flowering. Soft and sweet aroma and a very strong ‚Äúup‚Äù high. Excellent variety for indoor growing or greenhouse with darkening system. Very high yields. Easy to manicure. This variety serves as a standard against which others can be measured.

Favorite…. The smell is nostalgic. Brilliant strain. I find the lower the THC the happier and more fun I have. Cool thing about skunk is the ability to laugh uncontrollably.

Bought 10 seeds, they were very small. All germinated though, and are growing well. Just think the seeds sent weren't the best.

Skunk #1 from Sensi is a great strain for beginners and easy to grow. I seeded one of my buds and grew a number of additional plants and all of them were hearty and resistant to bugs and mold (within reason). The big buds really stand out. I was hoping for a stronger skunky smell but the high was spot on. Buds show really well because the different clumps end up forming a giant cola at the end of each branch by harvest time. A great general strain that's easy to grow and brings back memories of the hash cafe's in Amsterdam back in the day.

I got these as a part of a breeding project. As I was pheno hunting the pack, I only vegged them 4 weeks and only topped once at the fifth node, so I know my yield will be low. With a 6+ week veg, multiple toppings and spreading them out can produce some good yields. The are extremely easy to grow and fast in veg. They flower early and start stretching quickly, my stretch was about 2.5 times flip height. They take nutrients at high ppm/EC very well and love light in veg. So far that’s all I have. If you see seed pods in some of the flowers in the pics it’s because they were intentionally pollinated as part of the breeding project.

After waiting almost 2 months, I recieved my order. The Sensi Seeds box came opened and the bonus seeds were put in for shipping, that i sort of understand. But when I went to germinate them the next AM, I noticed the inner bubble pack that holds the seeds had been opened. The tab had been depressed and then taped up. I now have no guarantee of my genetics. The seeds even look different from whats pictured in the Sensi packaging.

8 out of 10 sprout! Vigorous vegetation stage! Waiting for my 12 / 12 switch to count the sexes. Clone like they were bred for it. I see no reason for not being able to maintain this strain in my collection for the foreseeable future.
