Seriotica is a feminised seed strain created from crossing Serious Mimosa crossed with (Girl Scout) Cookies. Seriotica is an indica-dominant strain with very high levels of THC and a short flowering period. A strain that is very easy to grow and mould resistant as well.
Seriotica plants are short and stocky with strong side-branches that can bear the weight of its mature buds without the need for extra support. Buds are dense, spheroid in shape and covered in resin, as are even larger leaves and stems (petioles).
Indoors, flowering times are between 5.5 and 8 weeks with yields between 350 - 500 gr/m2. Outdoors, plants are ready for harvest from mid-September through until early October in northern latitudes. Pink, crimson and purple colours are visible in plants that are left until 55 - 58 days after flowering begins.
The scent and flavour is rich and tasty with individual plants varying in the precise terpene profile. THC content is between 25 - 28% but without any couchlock or other stupefying feelings. After 37/38 days, or so, of flowering the effect will be more sativa-like while a longer flowering of 55 - 58 days will result in a heavier indica stone.
Photoperiod strains rely on seasonal daylight changes, so harvest timing is closely tied to your local climate.
Photoperiod strains give indoor growers more control over size, shape, and when flowering begins.
In theory most strains can be grown outdoors, indoors or in a greenhouse but how well they perform depends on the more exact environmental conditions. This is most important outdoors where climatic conditions can vary widely, so please check the strain information carefully. If your climate is more extreme or growing season shorter you should choose strain that is specifically adapted. Indoor and greenhouse environments can be controlled and made suitable for most strains although space can be a factor for strain that grow very large.
Growing difficulty varies depending on a strain's resilience, structure and environmental needs. Some strains are more forgiving and better suited to beginners and a range of environmental conditions, while others may require closer control of factors such as light, humidity, temperature and feeding.
Our product information and that provided by suppliers can be an indication of potential levels under optimal conditions, and it should not be assumed that results can be replicated in all conditions.
Strains described as beginner-friendly, easy to grow or resilient, in particular Autoflowering Feminised strains, are generally more manageable for less experienced growers. These varieties are often a more reliable starting point than more specialised genetics.
