Royal THCV Feminised Seeds

Royal THCV is a feminised seed strain that produces high levels of Tetrahydrocannabivarin (a.k.a THCV), a novel cannabinoid that is produced in equal proportions to THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) in this interesting new strain. THCV has special properties that are not only enrgising but appetite suppressing as well!

Crossing a pure African landrace strain with Durban Haze with a subsequent rigorous selection process gave rise to Royal THCV, a 95% sativa strain with the desired balance of THCV / THC at 7% each of these two cannabinoids.

This strain's growth pattern is typically African sativa, tall and stretchy. For this reason it is most suited to cultivation outdoors although growers with some previous experience will be able to obtain good results indoors by vegging for a shorter duration and then by training, pruning and using defoliation during flowering to control growth and expose bud sites to good light penetration.

Indoors, plants can be restricted to a height of 80 - 120 cm. with flowering taking 9 - 10 weeks after which yields of 500 - 550 gr/m² will result. Outdoors, plants grow to a height of 180 cm, possibly more, and are ready for northern hemisphere harvests in late October, making this a strain for long summers. Yields are about 425 - 475 gr/plant.

Royal THCV has an earthy, herbal and fruity taste and an uplifting effect that offers both clarity and a motivating quality. Therapeutically, THCV has been shown to act as an appetite suppressant as well as helping to curb tremors associated with Parkinson's disease, relieving anxiety, inflammation and pain.
