Description

The Haze was developed in California in the 1960s and 70s by crossing some of the best tropical sativas which had been imported during that period. The Oldtimer's Haze population has been preserved intact until today by Oldtimer, a british breeder, and then reproduced by our own breeders using a wide variety of parental plants. Oldtimer's Haze still preserves the genetic diversity that many present Haze lines have already lost, and it is possible to find phenotypes ranging from the mythic and nearly extinct ‚ÄúPurple Haze‚Äù to the most popular ‚ÄúGreen Haze‚Äù phenotype, and of course intermediate combinations as well.

Oldtimer's Haze Regular Seeds

The plants have yet to sex. However, I had 100% germination rate. The plants are very strong. I cannot comment as of yet concerning the taste or strength of the this product, yet. I grew Purple Haze in the1980's.

This is a great old school line. You have to have patience and a solid understanding of tropical sativa growth habits. The earliest females will be done around 14 weeks from clone and the latest at 22+ weeks The sex is very firm in the line, you won't see hermaphrodites. You will need to do some selecting in order to find an excellent female (I found mine out of 20). But it's totally worth it. You will be rewarded with effects that you can't find in most strains anymore. It's also great for making crosses and is probably actually the most suitable use for the line as it has been inbred for decades. This line is a timewarp and a great learning experience. I would highly recommend it, as long as you're willing to do some research and/or have some experience with these types of lines.
