Garlic Muffin F1 Auto Feminised is 80% indica. Very easy to grow, even for a novice, Garlic Muffin F1 Auto was bred by crossing Californian strains GMO Auto and the ever-reliable Cotton Candy Auto. It is believed that GMO stands for 'garlic, mushroom, onion' and its funky scent appears to agree. Its funky terps. and itstendency to produce high amounts of resin, make this strain perfect to make extracts with. In addition, its purple and orange shades set against its dark green background make this a visually stunning plant.
Garlic Muffin F1 Auto is a highly resistant strain, re. pests and pathogens, as well as having very high resistance to mould. A vigorous strain, as expected with F1 hybrids, plants usually grow to be about 100cm tall indoors, or up to 130cm. outdoors in open ground. Seed to harvest takes a maximum of 75 days with average yields, but this is an auto strain so yields will never match most photoperiod strains.
The terps. are dank, funky and Skunky, with savoury notes of earth, gas, garlic and sweet candy. THC production falls within the range 16 - 26% and the effect is that of a potent, stress-relieving indica.
F1 cannabis seeds or plants are the first generation offspring of two parent plants. F1 hybrid seeds or strains are the first generation
offspring of two pure, distinct strains. Note that using two pure lines, the result of intensive inbreeding, is drastically different to simple cross-breeding.
F1 hybrid plants have been used for decades throughout the agricultural industry because they offer several advantages; hybrid vigour allows plants to grow bigger more quickly. Plants are more uniform, stable and offer greater resistance to plant pests and diseases. Yields are much higher too, an important consideration.
However, it should be noted that it is not recommended to allow F1 plants to breed for seed crops as the resulting F2 plants will be much less uniform, being less stable and having greater genetic variability. New F1 seeds will need to be purchased or a lengthy and complex F1 breeding project carried out to produce more seedstock.
Autos can be sown in multiple waves through the season for staggered harvests.
Autoflowers follow their own internal clock, making indoor timelines easier to plan from seed to harvest.
