Duncan Mathers began his writing career at a very young age, and was a prolific blogger as far back as the early days of social media, using MySpace as his platform to reach an audience. He wrote business copy and advertising materials for local businesses before attending college to develop his skills, and was awarded at college as the outstanding student in Creative Studies across all campuses. At college, he produced an essay on the benefits of cannabis as an aid to creavity, citing accounts by notable musicians, writers, and comedians who advocate for cannabis in the creative process.
During his time writing in the cannabis space, Duncan has written and edited with bestselling cannabis author and cultivator Jorge Cervantes, and has served as Dr Gary Yates' proofreader and editor for 15 years.
Duncan has authored two books, with one under review for publication, and is currently collaborating on a comprehensive cannabis book, drawing from his 28 years as a pro-cannabis advocate. His expertise lies in cannabis culture, and he has a comprehensive knowledge of cannabis strains dating as far back as the 1960s.
