Description
In search of a pure medical strain, Female Seeds turned to the bestsellers of the US medical dispensaries. One of those strains was not only a bestseller for its medical properties, but also as the best tasting variety.
A stable multi hybrid of short squat indica's and short sativa's.
Here is a very easy, incredibly short strain famous for it's taste and effect. And the strange part is that it looks like an indica; short and squat like a NL, reaching a height of 40 - 50cm, but has lots of sativa smell and flavour. A licourice, flowery, fresh smell with a distant little earthy afghan undertone.
Basically, she grows like an indica, but has the characteristics of a sativa.
Why Black Sugar? With temperatures on the low side, flowers turn dark purple-ish/blue-ish and when dried black-ish/purple-ish covered in resin "sugar".

Purchased 5 seeds and none of them germinated. Seedsman send an additional 5 seeds and again none of them germinated. All other strain seeds I purchased germinated properly.

Only 1 germinated and then didn't make it

They're okay they get big as hell but something seems amist with these seeds. Not only have mine show would look like signs of calcium deficiency others with their grow journals show the same. I think I might admit the problem in the bud but every plan I ever run like never showed symptoms like these and it happened to both the black sugar and the autoflower Northern light. I'm thinking something might have happened with the seeds during shipping or something...

Black Sugar Feminised Seeds
The 8 black sugar seeds planted had a 0% germination rate. Not impressed . Black sugar is my favorite strain that I grew last year . The 11 other strains I purchased had a 90% germination rate. I would not recommend black sugar strain from seedsmans at this time. I am disappointed.

Black Sugar Feminised Seeds
I'm sad to have to give a low rating for the black sugar specifically. Cause I bought a variety and the other is doing really good .
I bought the buy 5 get 5 deal on the black sugars and purple ghost candy . Also came with the 2 freakshow from hombolt and 3 more of each og kush , white widow , and critical 2.0 auto .
Unfortunately 1 one black sugar germinated . However it has a weird malfunction but a good one . It at seedling stage split into 2 main stems growing outwards from each other . It's really pretty and no topping or training has been needed yet .
Now I popped 3 purple ghost candy and they all germinated and are doing really well! Visually as good and faster than my snowcaines even . So I'm impressed with those .
Then only 1 of the 2 freakshows germinated but the one that did is awesome . I've never seen something so perfectly structured. It's as if it was perfectly trained on its own and has a perfect even canopy.
Then it took me 2 seeds that only 1 germinated of the critical 2.0 I started for a friend . But it's doing good .
It's a shame about the black sugars but I'm hoping it's just one accident and that my other 5 pack will make up for this one . I also haven't reached out to seedsman about this yet . Seems legit so far so I would imagine they will honor their germination guarantee. Other that that I'm looking forward to growing all the other seeds I got from them . 👍
Here's some pictures . Perfectly structured freakshow . A couple pictures of the black sugar . Then the small one is the critical auto I started after the rest for a friend . And the purple ghost candy are the outside picture .
And the group picture are mainly of my 5 snowcaines ,1 sparkleface in 10 gallon mesh , and the black sugar and freakshow to very left in 7 gal mesh . Happy growing 👍🤠

Black Sugar Feminised Seeds
I set 10 black sugar seeds up to pop with 3 blueberry, and 3 bubba cheesecake.
Only 5/10 black sugar popped.
Blueberry and bubba cheesecake were both 3/3 and have taken off. All very strong plants.
One of popped black sugar seedlings died. The 4 that didn’t die are weak and behind the other strains.
Despite some of the good reviews…
I don’t recommend this strain.

Black Sugar Feminised Seeds
I set up 10 black sugar seeds with 3 blueberry and 3 bubba cheesecake to pop.
3/3 bubba cheesecake and blueberry popped.
Only 5/10 black sugar popped.
The bubba and blueberry plants are all strong.
1 of the black sugar seedlings died. My last 4 remaining plants are weak and behind the other strains.
Despite the good reviews.
I don’t recommend this strain.
