Description
HashTonic is a cannabis strain that shares some genetic heritage with CBD #1, but with a greater influence of Afghani genetics from ErdPurt. Compared to the original CBD #1, HashTonic features denser flowers, an earlier onset of flowering, and more consistent ripening times. Additionally, HashTonic has better resistance to cold temperatures, which makes it possible to grow it in more northerly latitudes, even up to 50 degrees North. Due to its direct cross with ErdPurt, HashTonic typically exhibits a terpene profile dominated by earthy, piney, and hashy aromas, which is distinct from CBD #1, where skunky, diesel, musky, and sweet tangerine scents are more common.
One of the most significant differences between HashTonic and CBD #1 is that while CBD #1 tends to have a single, stable chemotype with very high levels of CBD and minimal THC, HashTonic produces two equally common chemotypes at the population level. The first chemotype, like CBD #1, produces plants with CBD but almost no THC, while the second HashTonic chemotype produces plants with balanced levels of THC and CBD.
