Florida Gaspack is a cross between Chem �95 with the OG Kush �Florida Cut� (aka The �Triangle� OG). Florida Gaspack is a 75% indica strain, although it tends to have a more sativa growth pattern. The many qualities of Florida Gaspack include very high potency and great bag appeal.
Plants are lanky, though vigorous, doubling in height during flowering. Growers and trimmers will appreciate the high calyx to leaf ratio. Indoor plants flower for around 8 - 9 weeks with yields in the range 400 - 450gr/m2. The plants' structure and narrow leaves make both SoG and SCRoG techniques rewarding in indoor grow rooms. Double trellising recommended with lower growth pruned to concentrate energy to be directed to upper growth.
Outdoors, plants should be 'caged' and also trellised to provide more support. The slight susceptibility to powdery mildew is helped by removing inner growth (hollowing out) for better air flow. Plants grow best in arid, desert climates and as well as at higher altitudes as long as rainfall is low to non-existent. Outdoors, plants reach a height of 450 cm. and harvest is in early to mid October in the northern hemisphere producing up to 4000 gr/plant or more.
Fuel, acetone and chemical cleaner type scents are complemented by spicy citrus and pepp and pine together with lemongrass and minty notes. THC is in the range 24 - 26%+ and the effect is at first rather cerebral but which then becomes very relaxing to the point of couchlock. Great for the end of a long hard day and useful for pain relief too.
