Voting is now closed for the very first Annual Seedsman Awards and we are delighted to confirm the winner of the Best Medical strain is CBD Chem Dawg from CBD Botanic.
CBD Chem Dawg won this award with 34% of the vote, closely followed by CBD Blue Shark from Barney's Farm.
CBD Chem Dawg is a Sour Diesel x OG Kush hybrid strain enriched with high CBD production. It is 90% indica with a soft, fruity smell with earthy undertones that is by no means overpowering which makes it a good solution where smells may be an issue. Its cannabinoid profile is close to 1:1 THC:CBD.
CBD Chem Dawg is a hardy and rugged plant, easy to grow for novices and perfect for less than ideal conditions outdoors where it will withstand winds and poor soils. Outdoors and in greenhouses it is advisable to prune extensively to allow greater light penetration to the interior buds. Indoors growers should yield 400 - 500 gr/m2 finishing in 9 weeks flowering. Outdoor crops will be ready during the month of October in northern latitudes.
Terpenes produced by this strain include limonene, caryophyllene and myrcene. CBD levels are slightly higher than THC at 8% compared with 6%. It is an ideal relaxant whilst also being uplifting and motivational.
