p>NY Cheese is a 70% sativa hybrid strain bred by crossing Cheese with New York City Diesel. This is a tricky strain to cultivate, not for beginners, with longer than average flowering times and relatively low average yields, epecially indoors - the environment it is most suited to!

NY Cheese - Cultivation

NY Cheese plants grow with thin, spindly branches but, nevertheless, develop quite large, heavy buds that require extensive support. Growers are advised to use organic soils and nutrients and to top plants early. Flowering takes 10 - 12 weeks and yields are in the region of 300gr/m2.

Outdoors, plants require consistent conditions as they react poorly to changes in temperature as well as to pests. Buds tend to be rather large with a lot of pistils and very sticky resin. Yields are, however, rather better than indoors as long as plants are well cared for, with up to 600gr/plant being possible in expert hands.

NY Cheese - Terpenes & Effects

NY Cheese terpenes are predominantly myrcene, pulegone, geraniol, and carene giving rise to aromas and flavours of apricot, lavender, and citrus with chemical and strawberry notes. THC production is between 15 - 18%.
The true benefits of NY Cheese are therapeutic, helping to treat symptoms of fatigue, lack of appetite, anxiety, muscle spasms, and PTSD.
