Balkhi is a pure Afghani land-race from the hashish epicentre of Northern Afghanistan - Balkh - at a latitude of 36°N. Various-sized plants are produced ranging in height from 100 cm - 300 cm.
Its is suitable for cultivation in all environments, even indoors. The smaller, semi-dwarf, plants tend to be almost spherical in structure. As is common in this part of the world, pheno-types can vary from either narrow to very broad-leaved emphasising the confusion in categorising plants as either sativa or indica regionally. These highly-resinous plants also vary in cannabinoid profile with some being very high in THC and THCV while others can to be CBD-dominant.
Northern hemisphere harvests will be in the month of October. Variable and intense terpene profiles produce a wide range of scents and flavours including lime, citrus, pine, sandalwood and even burnt rubber. This is a smaller strain than Real Seeds' Mazar-i-Sharif and would provide an excellent breeding strain as well as being essential for collector's.
