Maple Leaf Indica is an Afghani plant that was smuggled out of Afghanistan just before the Russian invasion in 1979. It is 100% indica and has long been used in breeding programmes and, having been back-crossed for stability, is now available in seed form.
Maple Leaf Indica gets its name from its broad green leaves which resemble those of the Canadian maple tree. It is a fast-flowering strain predominantly for indoor cultivation and was one of the plants that was used in the "old days" to produce Mazar-i-Sharif hashish. It has incredible resin production in its buds which will be ready for harvesting a mere 45 - 50 days after flowering has begun. Yields are good.
The aroma and taste of this weed is sweet with citric notes of orange and grapefruit. The effect is very warm and comforting and gives a feeling of supreme relaxation with a sedative quality.
