Royal Purple Kush CBD is a 3-way cannabis hybrid bred by crossing a Black Afghani with Bubba Kush and Emerald Triangle's own CBD-Sativa plant. Very limited stretch during flowering means that you can leave it in the vegetative growth stage longer than usual to obtain larger plants. CBD:THC ratio of 3:1.
This is a 60% sativa medicinal strain that can be grown either indoors or outdoors. Despite its 15 - 25% stretch this is a plant that can be grown into a very large structure complete with multiple buds in which the calyxes simply pile onto one another. When grown indoors flowering takes 8 - 9 weeks while outdoor cultivation in the northern hemisphere will see harvest time at or around the beginning of October. Yields are very good and the plants turn a lovely shade of purple when exposed to low night time temperatures during the latter stages of flowering. Thsi property can also be further enhanced by the use of progressively colder water towards the end of flowering. Some care should be taken with mould as the dense buds can be susceptible.
The sweet, earthy flavour of the Afghani component is complemented by the pepper and fruit of the Bubba Kush. The overall taste is complex and has been described as being "other worldly"! High levels of cannabinoids are produced giving this a somewaht stonier effect than is usual for purple strains.

Emerald Triangle Seeds are so named after the region in northern California comprising of Humboldt, Trinity and Mendocino counties.
