Heavyweight Seeds crossed Lemon Skunk with Cheese to produce Lemon Cake. This is a predominantly sativa strain that is very vigorous in growth. In 9 - 10 weeks of flowering high yields of excellent quality marijuana is produced with THC levels of 23% and 0.3% CBD. It stretches quite a lot during this stage and therefore it is recommended to only veg. for a coupe of weeks otherwise plants can become somewhat unwieldy.
Indoors plants will reach a height of between 90 - 140 cm. yielding 600 - 700 gr/m2 of quality dried buds. Outdoors plants grow somewhat taller as is to be expected reaching 120 - 180 cm. tall and with yields of up to 800 gr/plant.
The buds are long and dense and will almost certainly require support during the last 3 or 4 weeks prior to harvest. Not only is it a good commercial strain, such are its yields, but it is also very useful as a medical marijuana strain that is particularly helpful to treat stress, loss of appetite and to alleviate the after-effects of chemotherapy. The high is very creative, cerebral and uplifting.

Heavyweight Seeds started in mid-2008, when their team visited a local cultivator who had obtained incredible results from his latest crop. They purchased clones of his mother plants and bought them back to Spain with them.
The resulting strains created of the cross between the aforementioned mother plants was truly mid-blowing. To preserve these special phenotypes more efficiently, Heavyweight Seeds decided to create their own gene pool. It took about a year to ready their products for the market and create a brand, which has become Heavyweight Seeds.
Heavyweight Seeds put much of their focus on creating strains with incredible resin production. Their genetics produce a return in resin between 10% and 20% grown under normal conditions with generic nutrients.
Heavyweight Seeds use extreme germination methods during the breeding process. They put the seeds in places where humidity and temperature variables are adaptable, forcing them to germinate in poor conditions. They then work with the plants that have passed the first stage. This selection process guarantees that the individuals Heavyweight work with will produce seeds that can germinate anywhere.
