Belka was named after the second Russian canine cosmonaut and it could quite conceivably send smokers into orbit. It is a cross of the famous West Coast 707 Headband strain with a Space Queen F2 plant. For many years the 707 Headband was available only to certain fortunate people "in the know" and Belka made its obvious qualities more widely available.

Plants grow tall whether cultivated indoors or outdoors and yields are very good. The stretch in flowering will see plants increase in height considerably developing long branches with lollipop buds that have an exceedingly funky diesel smell. Some form of staking or support will be necessary in most cases if the branches are not to break under the strain. Odour control indoors is strongly recommended.

Flowering takes around 10 weeks to finish indoors; outdoors plants are ready during October in northern latitudes. Yields are very good indeed.
