Afghan Kush Regular hails from the Hindu Kush mountains and is the hashish cultivar par excellence having been selected and acclimatised there over hundreds of years if not longer. This is the region that is famous for producing the strongest hash in the world.
This is another very compact strain, between 100 - 140 cm. tall, that is hardy enough to grow to maturity outdoors even in temperate climates such as that found in northern Europe, with leaves that are typically indica being both broad and dark green. There will be some stretch, however, especially from plants that are grown from seed rather than from clones (cuttings). Flowering is fast, as would be expected from strains that do well in higher latitudes, and has a duration of between 40 - 55 days. The resultant buds are very dense and rounded and are packed and coated with indica resin. The effect has been described as devastatingly strong especially for those who are not regular smokers.
