Black Diesel is a 70% sativa strain which is a special selection of the New York City Diesel strain which has been awarded prizes in multiple cannabis competitions to date.
Black Diesel is a high-yielding plant that can be grown successfully indoors as well as outdoors. Indoor plants will reach a height of 70 - 100 cm. but can easily grow taller if allowed a longer period of vegetative growth. Outdoors this strain can grow to be as tall as 400 cm. if planted directly into the ground. Indoor yields are between 400 - 550 gr/m2 following successful completion of a 9 - 10 week flowering period while outdoors much bigger harvests can be expected around the end of October in the northern hemisphere. An important point to note is that this cannabis strain does not have a good resistance to mould and for this reason it is not recommended to cultivate it in humid or damp environments; the Mediterranean or continental climate type is much more suitable.
The buds produced by Black Diesel are large and quite dense having a powerful aroma of grapefruit and a fruity taste with undertones of fuel. THC production is very good at 19% giving a powerful high.
