Nepal Annapurna is a land-race cannabis strain from the slopes of Annapurna at 2,000 metres altitude. This cannabis is used for making hand-rubbed charas in Nepal and is a wild sativa which grows very tall and slender. These plants are perfectly at home in poor soils with few nutrients and have evolved to be extremely hardy displaying excellent resistance to heat, cold, wind, rain and moulds.
Although Nepal Annapurna can be cultivated indoors growers will either need plenty of headroom or be prepared to SCRoG - training will make this plant easier to control and will also allow better light penetration into the plant's interior nodes. In this environment flowering will take between 12 - 14 weeks. Outdoors this strain can be grown up to 45° north and south and will be ready for northern hemisphere harvests towards the end of October through to early November. Yields are average for the size of plant. In cooler temperatures near the end of florescence flowers turn attractive shades of purple and pink. Recommended to give low to moderate feeding during the vegetative growth period and moderate levels in flower.
Buds are fruity with some menthol notes and with some incense and spicy scents of hash. THC is between 5 - 9% with 0.5% CBD. Its effect is clear, clean and inspirational, a special sativa high.
