Mamba Negra resulted from crossing the 2004 Highlife Cup winner Critical Mass with a red-haired Skunk. This strain is a good producer which develops a large central cola but which nevertheless shows good resistance to both mould and plant pests.
Mamba Negra can grow to become a large plant outdoors where it can reach 300 cm. in height finishing in the middle of September. Indoors flowering will take a period of 55 - 65 days yielding crops of 500 gr/m2. The buds of this plant are very dense but remain mould-resistant despite that.
Both the aroma and taste are very fruity and THC levels are high at 18% while CBD is low at 0.6%. The effect is both cerebral and physical and quite typical of a number of Skunk strains.
