Banana Sherbet x Chocolate is a delicious-tasting new strain which is 60% indica and 40% sativa. This is a high-yielding strain which produces very high levels of THC, all in a relatively short flowering period.
Although this strain is not particularly difficult to grow it is strongly recommended not to overfeed as this will be reflected back in its flavour. It is, in fact, preferable to under-feed if anything! The compact buds put on quite a bit of weight and support for the branches is recommended and this, according to Lineage Genetics, should be done just before flowering really gets going.
Indoors yields of 550 gr/m2 are anticipated in between 55 - 65 days. Outdoor plants should be ready in the early days of October in the northern hemisphere with each one producing 700 gr. of dried buds. From around week 3 of flowering you will notice a sweet, cookie aroma and by that stage the stems and leaves will sparkle with the plentiful trichome coverage.
There are 2 pheno-types; the first has banana as the predominant flavour with chocolate and cookie notes while the second has the emphasis the other way round with chocolate cookies as the main taste supported by banana notes. THC production is very high and ranges between 23 - 26% while CBD is low at 0.08% - 1.15%.
