Tangie Regular is a sativa-dominant strain that is a winner in more ways than one. It has a list of cannabis competition accolades that is the envy of many a seed company.
Tangie is a special selection of the 1995 strain Tangerine Dream and is a cross of Cali-O (Californian Orange) and a Skunk hybrid plant. This old strain was re-discovered by Crocket (of Crockett Family Farms) and donated to DNA Genetics for its use. This 70% sativa plant grows quite tall and will continue stretching until the end of the fifth week of flowering so indoor growers, or anyone else who needs to restrict height for whatever reason, should take account of this during the vegetative growth period.
Those who live in warm climate regions are advised to cultivate outdoors where the yields will be excellent with harvest being either in late September or early October in northern latitudes. Indoors growers can expect to harvest 450 - 550 gr/m2 in 9 to 10 weeks of flowering. Its lanky structure makes it a good choice for SCRoG or indeed for SoG if the aim is to veg, for only a short time before switching to 12/12. Fimming is also very effective and produces bushy plants with well-developed bud sites. The buds are very resinous and have a striking aroma of citrus especially tangerines. The best flavour intensity will be attained from soil grows; even better if completely organic.
