Skunk Kush is, as you might have guessed already, an F1 cross of Hindu Kush and Skunk #1. Slightly more indica than sativa at 60/40. The resin production of Afghani is combined with the extreme vigour of Skunk.
Skunk Kush is an ideal beginner's plant for indoor and greenhouse cultivation. It also grows very well outdoors in Mediterranean climate regions. It grows naturally into a Christmas tree-like plant with broad, dark green leaves. If the lower branches are removed a very solid single cola form will develop. During flowering, which takes between 50 - 60 days depending on pheno-type, it stretches about 50% in height. Outdoor harvests will be ready for the end of October. Bud development is large and heavy with those from the slightly sativa-leaning plants a bit more open but with grape-like clusters building on top of each other. Trichome production is high and resin crystals liberally cover all bud surfaces.
The aromas from this strain are quite complex and include musky Skunk with dark, earthy, Afghani flavours and an added zesty lemon and menthol quality. The effect is a big physical, body-stone from the more indica inclined plants and an added head-spin from those plants with a bit more sativa expression.
