Mimosa Champagne is a cross of an especially pungent and resin-covered strain called Mimosa with a vigorous, fast-flowering Champagne Kush male plant. The result is large yields of buds with an uplifting, though relaxing, effect.
Suitable for cultivation indoors as well as outdoors, Mimosa Champagne grows to be a medium-sized plant indoors ending up between 120 - 140 cm. tall whereas plants grown outdoors become rather taller, between 150 - 250 cm. Indoors flowering takes 9 - 10 weeks with very good yields of 450 - 550 gr/m2 while outdoor plants can produce anything between 450 - 1500 gr/plant!
Dense, dark green, conical-shaped buds are medium to large in size and are plastered in white resin-exuding trichomes. Many display blue/purplecolours towards the end of flowering. Mimosa Champagne is a hungry plant and will need extra N (nitrogen) in the vegetative growth phase and enhanced levels of both P (phosphorous) and K (potassium) during flowering. This will not only maximise growth characteristics but also increase terpene production.
Both scent and taste are fruity and creamy, reminiscent of cream cheese. It has high levels of limonene and linalool adding to the energetic and uplifting effect and beta-caryophellene which helps to reduce stress. The overall effect is intense and long-lasting, stimulating and relaxing, with something of a rollercoaster effect, without ever becoming at all couch-lock in nature. It’s no wonder Mimosa is a rising star and one of the more popular strains in the cannabis community.
