Lennon represent a special selection of plants crated by crossing Jack Herer with Haze. It is an overwhelmingly sativa hybrid strain with very good yields although flowering takes longer than with most indica-dominant strains, the wait being more than worthwhile.
Lennon is not a strain for the novice gardener; it is particularly sensitive to nutrients and it is recommended to use low-nitrogen substrates in which to grow. Further, plants grown in any medium other than soil should ensure that the irrigation water falls with a ph range of 6.5 to 6.8; soil acting as a balancing buffer of ph.
Grown indoors Lennon grows between 90 - 180 cm. tall with yields under 600 watt lights being a very rewarding 550 gr/m2 in approximately 11 weeks flowering. If headroom in the grow space is limited then vegetative growth times should be kept short. Outdoors plants can grow to 250 cm. tall giving harvests of up to 1800 gr. each finishing in October or very early November at the latest in northern regions. The buds are large with thick pistils although, being so sativa-dominant at 80% they are not particularly dense.
The aroma of this strain has a Haze incense quality with the zesty flavour of fresh limes. THC production is very good at 21% with correspondingly low CBD at 0.3%. The effect is very strong and highly psychoactive; occasional smokers/vapers may well find this weed makes them dizzy and needing to sit down as it can be overwhelming for some people. Haze lovers will be in their element with this exciting sativa hybrid.
