Chocolato is a 60% indica hybrid bred by crossing Amsterdam Genetics' White Choco with the Bay Area's Gelato. Apart from its delicious taste it boasts gorgeous purple buds and very high THC levels.
Chocolato has an indoor flowering time of 8 - 10 weeks, depending on phenotype, producing yields of between 400 - 500 gr/m2 from plants which remain compact and short to medium-sized at 50 - 100 cm. tall. Strong lateral branches are host to tightly-packed buds which form nice, dense colas. In warmer climate regions Chocolato does very well outdoors, growing to be 100 - 200 cm. tall and yielding as much as 300 - 400 gr/plant for mid-October norther hemisphere harvests. Its beautiful purple buds are contrasted with a thick covering of resin. During flowering its scent is sweet and creamy.
After drying and curing buds have a sweet taste with fruity and chocolate notes. THC content can be as high as 24% while CBD is 1.59%. Its effect is that of a euphorically happy and uplifting high which is relaxing but not so much so that creative endeavours are precluded.
Therapeuitcally Chocolato may provide relief from stress, fatigue and headaches while also helping with depression and pain.
