White Widow is a legendary cannabis strain and this Buddha Classics version is up there with the very best examples. First introduced in 1994, White Widow won the High Times Cannabis Cup the very next year and has been a big hit with smokers and vapers ever since.
Classic White Widow was bred from a pure sativa and an indica hybrid and has undergone some development to produce bigger yields. Indoors, between 500 - 650 gr/m2 of dried flowers are obtained in 65 - 70 days of flowering.
When cultivated outdoors harvest time will be in the last two weeks of October in northern latitudes or the last two weeks of April in southern ones. Growers can expect to harvest yields of between 500 - 2000 gr/plant.
Buds are white with resin and this appearance gave rise to its name. Both scents and flavours are complex with spices, pine resin and woody notes apparent. A degree of variation is to be expected however.
When smoked or vaped White Widow is a very fast and hard-hitting strain with a tremendous cerebral rush. This evolves into a more relaxed high with time but is probably not one for the novice to try as it can seem a 'bit too much' unless used to strong cannabis.
