Description

With an average CBD:THC ratio of 27:1, Blue Monkey CBD is a 70% indica hybrid strain bred by crossing an Afghan #010 with Kompolti CBD. This is a highly resistant strain which was originally bred in the hot, humid mountains of Navarra, Spain. As a result it is resistant to high levels of humidity and mould while also withstanding low watering and nutrient levels. Suitable also for indoor grows.

Blue Monkey CBD shrugs off plant diseases in whichever environment it is cultivated. It's easy to grow and comes in 3 pheno-types. Two are green with hints of purple and the third is a fully purple plant, striking in bloom. Indoor flowering takes 8 - 9 weeks with yields of 300 - 500 gr/m2 expected. Outdoors northern hemisphere harvests will be ready to harvest in the middle of September with similar-sized yields as indoor plants.

Dense, sticky buds carry an earthy/fruity scent while the palate has sweet citrus flavours with spicy notes. THC production varies between 0.3 - 0.5% while CBD can be up to 13.45% with an average of 11.45%. The average CBD:THC ratio is therefore around 27:1 but can be as high as 30:1. Its effect is very physically relaxing with very low pschoactivity.

Therapeutically Blue Monkey CBD is recommended to help treat depression, stress and fatigue.
