Ruderalis Skunk was bred to create a faster-finishing and stronger, more resistant plant, than Skunk #1 whose genetics are used in this hybrid. Half of all plants will be auto-flowering with the rest flowering as a response to shortening daylight hours. The perfect beginner's outdoor plant.
Ruderalis Skunk is a marijuana strain that is eminently suitable for cultivation in relatively harsh climates with short summers such as is found in northern and eastern Europe. It is 70% indica and grows into a large plant producing very high yields. Unlike the Ruderalis Indica strain Ruderalis Skunk was bred and selected for its potency, vigour and yields with the land-race ruderalis genetics contributing auto-flowering genes.
The auto-flowering plants will enter florescence at between 5 and 10 weeks of vegetative growth when 5 - 7 sets of side-branches have developed. Growers often start their plants off indoors to give them a head start before transplanting outdoors when the temperatures have warmed up a bit. The rest will flower later and finish at around the same time as Early Skunk and Early Girl in September in northern latitudes. This provides two separate harvests, one with around 45 days of flowering and the other around 3 - 4 weeks later.
The autos amongst the crop will not grow more than 2 meters tall but the photo-period ones can get rather bigger. The buds grow large, dense and very sticky with resin. Inclement weather will not phase this strain and it will still deliver buds with an extremely relaxing body stone.
