Peshawar is a pure land-race the seeds of which were collected in 2018 from the district of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, a town which became famous as a centre for smuggling goods of all kinds. This area lies very close to the border Tribal Agencies and is populated largely by Pashtuns, ethnically Afghan.
These plants produce large, broad leaves which are quite typical of domesticated indica plants. In their homeland they are dried and used to make sieved resin for hashish production. Harvest takes place in late September through October and these plants will also grow well in a greenhouse environment.
