Orange Cinnamon Swirl is an indica-dominant (60%) hybrid cross of Flying Dutchman's Pot of Gold (F1) with California Orange (P1). Both parents are famous strains, the former well-known and loved for its wonderfully relaxing, feel-good effect while the Californian strain has played an important role in the creation of most of today's 'citrus'cannabis strains, being prized for its intense flavour.
Indoor growers will grow plants which take 55 - 60 days to finish flowering with harvest bringing good very yields of 450 - 500 gr/m2. Outdoor cultivators in the northern hemisphere can expect their crop to be fully mature and ready to be harvested at the end of September or early October at the latest. In this latter environment each plant can produce as much as 700 gr.
The influence of the Pot of Gold is clear for all to see; the buds' structure is dense and tight and pack on so much weight that the branches will need some type of support if they are not to risk being snapped. Although plants display great uniformity there are, nevertheless, some pheno-typical variations which are noticeable in the buds themselves with some having a strong, citrus element reminiscent of orange lollipops while others produce more Kush-like scents and flavours.
The scent of Orange Cinnamon Swirl is predominantly that of intense citrus with vanilla notes while the taste displays strong orange citrus fruit with vanilla. THC levels are between 12 - 15%, giving a euphoric and uplifting high which evolves into something altogether more relaxing.
