The legend that is White Widow Regular first hit the Dutch coffee-shop scene in 1994 and has remained in demand ever since. White Widow was the first of the "white" cannabis strains that are so-named on account of their heavy coating of resin which makes the dried buds appear white. It is a fast-flowering and heavy yielding mostly indica (65%) marijuana that is straightforward to cultivate.
White Widow can be grown in all environments but outdoors it will require a warm continental or Mediterranean climate. Indoors flowering lasts for a period of 50 - 65 days depending on the exact pheno-type and at maturity the plants reach a height of 110 - 150 cm. The smoke is rich, smooth and slightly sharp tasting and it hits like a hammer-blow before evolving into a more relaxed state over the course of an hour or so. Those who haven't experienced it don't know what they're missing.
