Star is the result of a long breeding programme with secret ancestors. V Elementum will say no more than that it is based on an old-school strain with genetic input from other high quality plants. Yields are high as is its THC production which delivers both physical as well as cerebral effects.
Star is extremely adaptable to a wide variety of growing techniques and it is a strain that can be switched to the flowering phase shortly after it has become established due to its vigour and stretch during florescence. Although it is 60% sativa it finishes very quickly and indoors it is ready to be harvested after 68 days of flowering. Yields indoors are in the region of 550 gr/m2. Outdoors it will not be ready until the end of October, ruling out some marginal climate zones where the autumn weather will have set in, yielding as much as 1600 gr/plant.
Star's flavour and scent are reminiscent of spices, especially nutmeg. Its high THC levels result in a psychedelic sativa effect albeit with some indica "bottom-end". This is a really different strain and one which sativa-dominant lover would do well to check out.

About V Elementum Seeds
V Elementum Seeds is a Spanish breeder with which you may not be familiar, however, keen cannabis enthusiasts out there will almost certainly have enjoyed some of their marijuana strains before. For more than 15 years they worked with leading Dutch seed banks producing strains that have won some major honours in various cannabis competitions.
They were twice winners of the 1st. Prize at Barcelona's famous Spannabis, first in 2008 and then again in 2015, amongst many other successes they have gained. Now its breeders have launched their own seed bank - V Elementum.
Although the range of feminised and auto-flowering cannabis seeds V Elementum offers is quite small you can be certain that all of their strains have well and truly earned their right to be included. Only genetics which meet rigorous standards of stability, aroma, taste, potency and yield are added. Each strain must be distinctive and of connoisseur quality. Strains such as the tasty Caseus (Cheese), sweet Candy Fruit, both also available as auto-flowering seeds, spicy Star and mouth-watering Papaya will have growers and smokers coming back for more.
